I’ve lived in various Florida cities all my life, with the exception of a few years in St. Simons Island, GA
At Stetson University, I received degrees in Elementary Ed. and Spanish. A life-long learner, I soon earned my National Board, Gifted, and Art Certifications. I love to travel and learn about other cultures.
I recently toured Egypt and hiked the Inca Trail in Peru. So far I’ve visited 23 countries. A passion for long distance running has led me to complete 20+ half marathons. Gardening, baking, trying to snuggle my aloof cats, and eating Nutella are a few of my other passions.
Creativity, inclusion, and humor are tenets of my classroom and I’m so excited to join the APS 5th grade team!
