Principal’s Message

Audubon Park School PrincipalDear Falcon Families,

We are very excited to welcome our students back tomorrow. Our Kindergarten and 1st grade parents will be able to walk their child to class the first couple days of school if needed. We will also staff members and patrols available to assist walking students to class.

Please be patient with the car line in the morning and afternoon. It takes time to get back in the flow and for new Falcons to learn the system. We will move you through as fast as we can.

Just a reminder, the gym area is not a drop-off or pick up zone. We have a large amount of walkers, bike riders, and scooters in that area and we need to keep that area clear of vehicles during arrival and dismissal. Also, if dropping off and picking up for extended day please do not park in the handicap parking spots unless you have a designated handicap parking decal/tag. We have families that need those spaces and we need to make sure they are available for them.

If your child rides their bike or scooter to school, please let them know that once on campus they are to walk their bike, or scooter, on the sidewalks. If they enter through the gate next to the baseball field they need to dismount at the gate and walk on the sidewalk to the bike racks next to the gym. There are new bike racks located by the gym to help secure their bikes and scooters.

Remember:

I hope everyone had a wonderful summer! It’s going to be another great year at APS!

GO FALCONS!!
