May Reminders:

• All books are due Friday, May 10. Please remind students to place their books in the bins outside the Media Center doors. We are testing in the Media Center all week so students cannot enter to return books.
• Textbook inventory is May 10 (grades 6-8), May 13 (grades 2-3), May 14 (grades 4-5) and May 15 (grades K-1). Please make sure your textbooks are ready to be scanned and displayed on a table like so:

• Device return is May 20 (grades 8 and 4), May 21 (grades 7 and 3), and May 22 (grades 6 and 5 plus all Pre-K thru 2 carts must be returned). See schedule here. Device return forms are in your mailboxes. Please be sure these are filled out before coming down to your time slot. Students in older grades can assist with filling out their own forms. 
• The End of the Year Book Bash will be May 16 and May 17. We will be celebrating with a GLOW CARNIVAL in the Media Center. Student invites are coming soon but you can view the attachment to see your students that qualified (50 books, 500,000 words, SSYRA readers, or Booster Bits goal). Almost 500 students qualified this year! We do need some parent volunteers so if you can, please share this link with families. 
• Attached is tons of info about our Summer Reading Program including summer hours, the new Sunshine State Books, the summer reading challenges, and refresher directions for AR and Beanstack. I will have copies made for you and placed in your boxes before the school year ends.
