Ms. Calise 8th Grade Language Arts d

I am an Orlando native, through and through.  I graduated from Lake Howell High School and then went to the University of Central for my undergraduate and graduate degrees. For the past 8 years of my educational career, I worked at Winter Park High School. Over the years, I have taught 9th, 10th, and 12th grade ELA.  In regard to my life outside of school, my husband and I welcomed our first child into this world last year. We have a rottweiler named Brandy and she is our son’s best friend. I am excited to join the Audubon team and look forward to an exciting new chapter this year!

I am thrilled to be a Falcon this year! I am an Orlando native, attended all OCPS schools, and graduated from UCF with a bachelors degree in Exceptional Student Education. I am a double certified educator and before coming to teach at Audubon, I taught preschool and 1st grade. APS holds a special place in my heart as both of my daughters, Audrey (4th grade) and Estelle (1st grade), attend this excellent school. When I have free time, I enjoy spending it with my husband and daughters, reading a good book, or traveling to a new place. Teaching is a true passion of mine and I’m so excited to be joining the second grade team this year.
